The Columbia College Theatre Department offers students active practice in performance and technology in the context of modern professional theatre. These practices build skills, knowledge, and habits that support individual and ensemble creation of work that is reflective of and responsive to our students’ lived experiences in conversation with the current moment. Our consent-based and inclusive work is grounded in live theater performance but is applicable across a variety of mediums and industries.
